MFT format is smaller than NEX but the Nokton 25mm f0.95 is almost usable. I also tried the Lumix 7-14mm but the vignetting is too much visible. I think 25mm is the shortest usable focal length.

In photography you can forget about that because the RAW format save all the information from the sensor but in movie mode no! Ok… super fantastic and expensive pro cameras, like the obviously RED, has the “RAW” also for movie but normal DSLR save video compressed in AVCHD or other same format (Not always… see below). So the picture style become absolutely necessary!! Why?? It’s simple… we need to get all the possible  information from our shooting for a better color correction in post production. To do that we must keep the maximum dynamic range as possibile and the picture style can help us to “flat” our image. For example the standard GH2 film mode has too much contrast so the black result with no shades… this is a lost of information!!!!!!

Anyway… in my personal opinion, and after some test, Nostalgic is the best “flat” film mode for shooting video with GH2. If you search on forum, blog, … there are a lot of different impressions but Nostalgic, Smooth and Cinema are always the best mentioned.

My settings:

Other tips concern file format and compression.
An alternative great tool to convert AVCHD (or Canon Mov file) is 5DtoRGB. This little software (free for non batch version) allow you to convert native MTS GH2 files in ProRes format with some advanced options.

For GH2 i found this settings the best:

And finally if you don’t like AVCHD or other compressed file format you can record a uncompressed footage directly from the HDMI output!!! Yes.. Ninja Atoms can do that!

I never tried one so I can’t write my opinion yet

…anyway i love this lens! It’s very sharp wide open, awesome bokeh and also very cheep (less then 100$/€ on eBay).

The first “Super” version (introduced 1964) has 8 lens elements (listed separately). All subsequent versions (including K, M, F and FA versions) have 7 elements.

The 7 element Takumars have the infrared focusing mark to the left of the numeral ’4′ on the DOF scale. The 8 element version has the mark to the right. Thanks to Laurentiu Cristofor for pointing this out.

La procedura per smontare un iMac fortunatamente non è così complicata e su YouTube, forum, ecc… è pieno di video ed immagini che spiegano come fare. Certo… prima di procedere ad un’opera di disassemblaggio del genere ho provato ad estrarre la schedina, ma non avendo avuto esiti positivi ho dovuto procedere nel peggiore dei modi

Dunque, lasciando perdere le insolenze uscite dalla mi bocca durante la realizzazione non voluta di questo reportage, vediamo cosa ho fatto per recuperare la schedina SD:

1. sollevare con una ventosa il vetro (non è a pressione ma magnetico quindi basta poca forza)
   
   
2. svitare le 8 viti TORX presenti sui lati dell’LCD (solo sui lati non sopra o sotto)
   
   
3. scollegare i 4 connettori del monitor LCD (…e ricordarsi quali sono… IMPORTANTE)
   
   
4. sollevare il monitor LCD facendo una lieve leva
   
   
5. svitare le 4 viti di supporto al lettore DVD
   
   
6. recuperare “in qualche modo” la schedina SD
   
   
7. finire la sequela d’insolenze e chiudere il tutto
   

Ora… ok che sono stato un pò maldestro io… però la fantastica fessurina per SD potevano farla un pò più distante rispetto a quella del lettore DVD

Purtroppo la versione X, sebbene concepito con una GUI ricercata e con un motore di rendering più performante, ha perso molte funzioni utili della vecchia versione 7.

L’installazione di entrambi i player non è per nulla complicata. L’unica cosa di cui avrete bisogno è il DVD di Snow Leopard.

Ecco i semplici passi da seguire per installare QuickTime 7 Pro:

1. Inserire il DVD di Snow Leopard
   
2. Cliccare su “Installazioni opzionali” ed eseguire “Optional Installs.mpkg”
   
3. Scegliere “QuickTime 7″ dalle opzioni e proseguire la normale installazione
   
4. QuickTime 7 sarà installato nella cartella Applicazioni > Utility
